Let’s talk grubs. You don’t like them. We don’t like them. Heck, grubs don’t like grubs (or so we’d assume) because they aren’t good-looking things and they create such a mess.
Now’s the time when they’ll start to come into your life as it pertains to grass and other things they want to mess with. They are the larvae form of beetles and from mid-July to early August the babies and smaller grubs appear.
No bueno. Or not good.
Soon, they’ll be eating the roots of grass to create brown patches. And, well, you don’t want that.
Now is the best time for you to prevent the little boogers from getting big. Get at them early right as they start to lay their eggs.
Here are a couple of things you can use – imidacloprid or halofenozide – to prevent and/or kill those pesky white worm-like creatures. We provide Sevin granules and also have a systemic by Bonide called grub beater that can be used on lawns.
Come on by and we’ll point you to the right product for prevention and maintenance for everything you need in the garden.
