Of course, feed your citrus plants. It’s round three for the season.

Join us for our annual Vegetable Seminar

It’s that time of year again — the annual Vegetable Gardening Seminar at Rillito Nursery & Garden Center.

It’s Aug. 24 from 9 to 10 a.m. , and will be led by yard supervisor Chelsea Ginn.

It’s always one of our more popular seminars of the year. You’ll learn plenty, including:

  • Choosing between fruits and vegetables
  • Growing a raised bed or container garden
  • Preparing a garden
  • Planting to harvest
  • Planting for warm & cold season crops
  • Knowing the right amount of water, soil and fertilization
  • Pest management

It’s an away for information that’ll benefit any novice or veteran gardener. Ask questions because we have the answers. And stick around afterward because we’ll have a vegetable-tasting get together right after.
