By now you’ve already fed the citrus for the fall. Yes? Well, if you haven’t … you’d better do it.

And while you’re at it, why not come out and see us for the annual Citrus Seminar?

It’s appropriately titled: Growing Citrus in the Sonoran Desert.

Our own Chelsea Ginn, who knows about all things citrus, will hold the presentation.

It’s on Saturday, Sept. 14 and begins at 9 a.m. and goes to 10 a.m.

It’s short and sweet like many of the fruits we’ll be helping you grow. Well, at least the sweet part.

Chelsea will talk about:

• choosing the right citrus to grow

• preparing and planting

• container growing vs. in the ground

• soil amendments

• fertilization requirements

• pest management

• watering: drip irrigation or by hand

• harvesting your citrus

Yes, there’s a lot there so be prepared to get all the information you’ll need for healthy and happy citrus plants.
