The rose garden attests to the fact that you can grow roses in a blast furnace!  There are 18 roses in the garden including floribunda, hybrid tea, grand flora, climbers, and shrub. These roses are on a drip irrigation system that waters twice a week for 45 minutes.  Major rose growers plead with us to test their new roses in this garden. On the third Saturday of January each year we host the local rose society to teach pruning and rose care.   Roses are like a relationship; the more time you put into the care of the relationship the better it is.
