Rillito Nursery and Garden Center is an independent, family owned and operated business that has provided customers in Tucson with a diverse inventory of quality plants and products since 1994.

The nursery is located in Northwest Tucson just south of the intersection of La Cholla Blvd and Orange Grove Road across from the Northwest Hospital Complex.

Plant products are displayed by plant type, size, and environmental requirements. An example is that the low water use plants are grouped together in an area separate from plants that thrive in the shade and need more water. Plant information signs are used extensively to assist you in making your selections.

You will find seven demonstration gardens throughout the nursery. We have a flower garden, a vegetable garden, an herb garden, a container garden, a water garden, a rose garden, and a desert garden.

These gardens are maintained by our staff year-round and provide a living display of what is possible in your landscape. Each garden provides a sampling of compatible plants at various stages of maturity.

There are areas in the nursery dedicated to pottery, trellises, and yard art. Watch for the sprinkling of these products along the walkways and in the gardens. There are 300 to 400 trees to choose from such as Palms, Citrus, Fruit, Mesquite, Palo Verde, Acacia, and other non natives.
